A lightweight application starter for Smallweb — rejecting bloated modern build complexity in favor of focused simplicity.

One thing I've been really enjoying is being able to use Claude on my phone. I'll be in the woods, hanging out, and have a cool idea — what if I had a website that randomly generated Northeastern trees? I really love Cursor, but there's no Cursor for your phone. So I ssh into my VPS — I'm in the woods, so it's slow — and say: hey, in the smallweb folder, make me a new smallweb app in Deno that serves up a random Northeastern tree. The result is a URL — northeastern-trees.ejfox.tools — something I could send to a friend or look at right now. It's nothing too special, but I didn't have to write any code, and I got a public URL. This is such a new way of interacting with computers and software, and it feels really cool. I want to write a lot more code like this — away from my computer. I don't need a keyboard.
